18th Century England . . .
18th Century England . . . Elizabeth, once an heiress, suddenly penniless and forced to become a servant to her beautiful cousin in her uncle's house. Adam Black, a dangerous, wealthy rogue determined to buy a title, who rescues her. David, England's wealthiest peer, who steals her away. Three great characters, a single raging romance.
Note from the Author
This is a menage-a-trois historical romance and it is similar to The Other Boleyn Girl, Jane Eyre, and Jamaica Inn in theme, and perhaps just a little less explicit than 50 Shades of Grey. I like all my books, all my heroes and all my heroines. But, all other things being equal, I do like Elizabeth, her two men, and this book "almost best". She's a trooper, the guys are men of their time, and the world they live in is as real as this one. These folks are not unaware of the brutality of the world they live in and they strive very hard to find happy endings for themselves, one another, and those they love. I, personally, enjoying the books an author finds the most meaning in. For me, at the moment, Ruined! and A Pirate's Desire, fall in that category. If you read them, I hope you like them . . . If you don't remember let's you return books within twenty-four hours with no questions asked.
Best wishes,
Andreya Stuart

I liked this book. It was entertaining, full of "romance" (and what comes with it), I liked the characters, and there were a couple of plot developments that I didn't anticipate. My only complaint with this book is that it really needed to be proof read. There were typos and wrong words used( like "new" when it should have been "knew") and in a few places I think the men's names were mixed up. *Spoiler Alert*. The Epilogue mentions David's son and daughter but she must mean Adam's son. If not, then what happened to her first child? Otherwise well worth the $2.99! I spent the whole afternoon reading it and would read more of her books. Just hire a good proof reader next time.Product details

Ruined! A Scandalous Historical Romance Dangerous Historical Romance Book 2 edition by Andreya Stuart Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
The book kept you holding on, the editing was horrific. The book moved fast, kind of jumped a little I thought. It was a good read I suppose, just got tired of having to guess what words was meant to be written and some were even turned around. But you the concept. If you can get past the errors this book is a decent read.
I found this book through a Facebook ad, which is new for me.
The idea behind the story is a good one, though not necessarily new. There were a number of obvious grammatical errors and instances of the wrong name being used in the narrative. That sort of thing really detracts from the story. The book would have benefitted from dating the chapters, especially in the last few as time moves a bit faster. There's a decent amount of sex, and not all of it is run of the mill. If you are bothered by forcible scenes, or threesomes, skip this. I get why some of the sex was there, but some of it felt gratuitous to me. The Epilogue was very confusing, and didn't wrap up much, in my opinion.
Overall it was an OK read, wish I hadn't spent the $2.99 for it though, free would have been better.
I thought the story was intriguing and it was definitely a twist on the standard romance novel. I think that the plot twists were a little over dramatic, but I think it works for this genre. My biggest problem was the obvious lack of editing. I am a self-professed "grammar Nazi" and the typos and misplaced words dramatically reduced the effect of the story. The worst error is that near the end some of the main male characters names were switched, which was incredibly confusing and caused me to stop reading to decipher which character was intended. The grammar thing to me shows a lack of caring, which makes me care less about the characters and their story. I am sure this author really cares about her work, but she should take the time to properly edit. I did really enjoy the book despite the problems.
Well written except for a couple typos. The story was interesting but... the ending and some other parts were sad and kinda off in my opinion.
I'm not sure why I continued to invest time in this. It was a quick read. A bit like a train wreck- I couldn't look away and felt compelled to continue reading to see just what chaos these characters would wreak upon each other next. I wouldn't call any of it "historical" there were no historical figures or anything really important about the setting. I suppose the time in which it was set determined the roles of women and the views of men. The wild personality swings of characters made them less than likable, and portions read like porn rather than "romance"
5 great story I have read it twice.written and a style that catches and holds your attention.Liz is a strong lady.two men met her and both fall in love with her.it broke my heart when she tried to kill herself and lost her baby.when Adam told her she was rich I was so happy but I would like to know what happens to her aunt and uncle also did diane and Liz ever meet her and Adam became lovers. love it
