When I took the book out of the package, I was startled by how small and thin it was. The type font was unusually large. The text appeared not to have been proofread. In addition to typos, it was hard to tell who "he" referred to, and there was unexpected oscillation between present and past tense. Furthermore, the formatting appeared to have been implemented by an automatic conversion from Kindle. Headers appeared at the bottom of a page, with the text on the page that followed. Paragraphs were separated by a single return. With no indentation on the first line, the only way to tell it was a new paragraph was that the line above it ended abruptly in the middle of the page. I've read dozens of independently published books, but I've never seen one with poorer production quality.

The content was fine. It contained most of the information found in two other books I'd just read, "21 Dirty Tricks at Work" and "Corporate Confidential: 50 secrets your company doesn't want you to know." However, this book addressed things in abstract terms while the others described the concepts using specific examples.

Even if 90% of it is all common sense the remaining 10% of previously unknown points she's making will make huge difference in the way you look at things. I also liked the way it is presented with tons of real life examples. Worths every cent you'll pay for it.
Initially, I didn't expect too much from this book, however, after reading it, I began to realize that I should know how to play office politics well in order to get along with colleagues.

For most of my career up until now I've had little interest in office politics, but recently my naivety caught up with me. I spent months working hard on a huge project only to see a team member who contributed far less be given the credit for my efforts. At the same time I managed to draw all the blame for the few things that wen't wrong.
